Happy Birthday Nanny.

Little Bear

I lost her 39 years ago. October 17th 1977. I was 16 and she was 55. My mother Opal Louise Sparkman Williams.

Her name was Ruth Elois Lambert Sparkman. Forgive me. Her daughter was Ruby Sue Sparkman. She died at 13 years old and I've lost the only picture of her. How can I forgive myself?

 I'm sitting here here crying because I wanted to tell a story about my momma and her gladiolas.
There isn't anybody to share it with and maybe somebody will care about it.

 My great Aunt Lizzie used to own a very well thought of florist shop call Stowe's in Minor, Al. I can remember when I was little before Memorial Day she (my mother) would spend all day making arrangement for other people and them come tired to make her arrangement for all the people we had to make them for.

I had a stroke in September. The typing is going real slow with my left hand and I have to look real hard for the letters I want. I plan on doing this to help my mind and my memory.
